Hunter-Diggora and Kamarooka brigades officially celebrated the handover of their new state-of-the-art Hino 2.4C 500 series crew cab tankers on 30 March.
The new 4x4 medium tankers hold 4,350 litres of water, full crew protection and crew cabin. The new trucks replace two 27-year-old Isuzus. The new tankers will dramatically improve the brigades' response capability by keeping in step with modern and efficient tanker technology.
