Around 35 firefighters responded to a structure fire near Kialla this morning to find a single-storey home fully engulfed in flames.
Eight trucks from Shepparton, Mooroopna, Shepparton East and Tallygoroopna attended the fire, which caused serious damage to the tin and weatherboard property.
Upon searching the property, firefighters discovered the body of a deceased male inside the home.
The fire started shortly after 9am this morning and was brought under control in 20 minutes.
CFA and Victoria Police fire investigators are currently on scene, with Victoria Police managing the incident at this stage.
