CFA are attending a garage fire in Kilsyth South which started shortly after 12.30pm.
The garage was well alight when crews arrived and a large amount of smoke may be visible in the area.
An Advice Message has been issued for Kilsyth South, Mount Dandenong, Olinda and The Basin.
The fire is at a property at the end of a court. CFA is asking residents in the area watch out for fire trucks and other emergency vehicles.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria are also on scene.
CFA firefighters from Boronia, The Basin, Bayswater and Montrose are attending.
Cause of the fire is unknown at this stage and will be investigated by CFA Fire Investigators.
