The streets of Ferntree Gully will be glittering with the flames of hundreds of torches during the biennial CFA Knox torchlight parade on Saturday night (2 March).
More than 300 firefighters from Brigades across Victoria will make the trek from the Ferntree Gully fire station to the Ferntree Gully football oval around 8.30pm in what always proves to be a spectacular sight.
Pipes and drums from Victoria Police, Ambulance Vicotoria and Ringwood RSL will keep marchers in step in a time honoured tradition.
Part of the 2013 Knox Fesitval, the evening will culminate in a fireworks display.
