CFA is investigating a fire which destroyed a log cabin in Reefton, in the Yarra Ranges, overnight.
Firefighters from Bayswater, Yellingbo, Warburton, Wesburn and Reefton were called the Nello Drive property at about 7pm.
CFA District 13 RDO Darren Treloar said crews arrived to find the cabin fully involved.
“The fire was intense and firefighters were wearing BA (Breathing Apparatus) for crew safety given the smoky conditions and low heavy fog in the area.”
It’s believed no one was home at the time of the fire.
CFA Fire Investigators will attend the property this morning to determine the cause.
