Lucinda Nolan appointed as CFA’s new Chief Executive Officer

As Acting Chair of the Board, I have great pleasure in announcing the appointment of Lucinda Nolan as CFA’s new Chief Executive Officer.

The Board conducted an extensive search, which attracted a number of exceptional candidates.

Lucinda Nolan has an impressive background, with more than 30 years in Victoria Police, and brings with her outstanding leadership experience across a range of roles. She is currently working as Victoria Police’s Deputy Commissioner, Regional Operations.

Many of the challenges faced by Victoria Police are similar to ones we are facing at CFA. Lucinda will bring fresh ideas and drive real change to make us an even better organisation.

She will begin in the role in November.

I’d like to thank Michael Wootten who has held the role since the departure of former CEO Mick Bourke.

Michael enjoys the gratitude of the board for his commitment and dedication to CFA.
