Members of the Millbrook Fire Brigade, both old and young, were on hand on Sunday 3 May to welcome their new medium tanker.
Member for Buninyong Geoff Howard MLA was in attendance at Millbrook on behalf of the Minister for Emergency Services to hand over the keys to the tanker to Captain Luke Reynolds.
Captain Reynolds responded by giving thanks to the government and also to Operations Officer Archie Conroy who has supported the brigade’s activities and identified their need to better serve the community in local, intra and interstate strike teams.
Captain Reynolds added that this state-of-the-art 4x4 vehicle will enable the brigade to continue to provide vital support to its communiy for years to come.
