Mildura 2016 Urban Senior State Champs Progress

The Mildura Urban Senior Championships have been hotly contested.

With the Championships starting on Saturday morning, the teams were out in the heat early on Saturday for the Discipline Contest.

The Discipline Contest for A Class was won by the host brigade of Mildura. B Class was won by Patterson River and Knox Group took home the win in C Class.

The two days of competition have been fought out hard in the Mildura heat, setting some fine times and putting on a show for spectators. 

After the first two days of competition, in A Class Maryvale are out in front on 80 points followed by Kangaroo Flat on 37 points, followed by Bendigo in third on 23.5 points.

Competition in B Class is much closer with the first three teams being seperated by only 4 points. Patteron River is on 38, with Werribee only one point behind in seond on 37 and Sale in third on 35 points.

Stanhope is out in front in C Class with 44 points, Whittlesea in second on 36 and Harvey B in third with 27 points.

Monday will see the final day of competitions, with the weather hopefully being a little cooler for the competitors but the competition for will be hot on the track between the teams to see who will take home the trophies.
