Mosquito Creek celebrates

On Sunday 12 July, on a drizzly wet day, Mosquito Creek Fire Brigade shone brightly with reason to celebrate.

The brigade was officially presented with the keys to its new 1.2.4D Light Tanker 2 by North West Region Acting Assistant Chief Officer Gavin Thompson. This truck will greatly improve the brigade's operational capability. The new vehicle’s 4WD capability and increased ground clearance will allow the brigade to access additional areas, in particular the remote areas of Lake Eppalock shoreline, while maintaining access to tight, restricted areas within caravan parks and club camp sites.

As part of the handover ceremony, brigade members were presented with service awards totalling 155 years
Those members who received service awards were:

5-year Certificate of Service
