Narre Warren East Fire Brigade is aiming to raise much needed funds with their 2017 Volunteer Community Calendar.
Along with Belgrave Heights and South Fire Brigade, the members of Narre Warren East have been hard at work over the last few months putting together the calendar which they hope will be a big hit.
'The brigade is always trying to come up with different ways to raise funds. We want the community to see how diverse being a CFA volunteer can be, which is why we spent a lot of time thinking about the different themes for our photos and how we could make this truly special.' Captain Peter Ryan from Narre Warren East.
The calendar features six photos by Narre Warren East members and six by Belgrave Heights and South. With photos ranging from call outs to training and a behind the scenes look into some of the volunteer’s roles.
The Calendars are selling for $20.00 each (with postage available for an extra $5.00) with all proceeds going towards much needed equipment for the up and coming 2016/17 fire season.
The Brigade members want to make a special mention to Arek from Five Castles Portraits along with Caroline Ward from Ki Creative, who were so generous in donating their time and professional skills to make the photos original and captivating.
