New members now have access to an online induction program that provides an insight into CFA’s culture, vision and values, and gives them an in-depth understanding of the organisation.
The program was developed in response to the 2014 CFA Culture Survey that highlighted the need for more information about our organisation when joining, and the result is an online program that supports localised introductions to CFA and provides timely, consistent and effective information.
The induction topics include CFA’s structure, history, key policies and the range of services we provide to the Victorian community. It also provides important information for new employees.
For both volunteers and employees, the online induction means they can complete the program at a time and location that suits them.
The interactive program should take new members less than an hour to complete, and you can go at your own pace.
Even if you've been a member for some time, we encourage you to check out the program.
The online induction enhances local induction briefings conducted by line managers or brigade management teams.
