New CFA webpage for FOI requests

CFA members who receive Freedom of Information (FOI) enquiries from the public can now direct people to the new CFA webpage that contains details about how to lodge an FOI application.

The new Freedom of Information page was created as a starting point for members of the public, as well as CFA members, to access information on the process involved in lodging an FOI application with CFA.

It also outlines a person’s right to access information in accordance with the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 and includes links to the FOI application forms.

You can find the Freedom of Information page on the CFA website by clicking on the ‘Who we are’ dropdown box located on the ‘About us’ page.

We ask all CFA members to refer people to this useful page (which includes phone and email contact details for the Freedom of Information Officer) in the first instance if they receive an FOI enquiry.
