On 29 April a new radio tower was erected at the joint offices of CFA District 4 and DELWP at Casterton.
The tower was donated by DELWP and erected by CFA as part of a program to improve communication from this shared office facility. The tower is 45 metres high, which is 35 metres taller than the previous tower at this site. As part of the project, new and improved aerials have been installed to ensure that communications function as good as possible.
