Parliamentary Inquiry into Fiskville hearings to resume

The Victorian Parliamentary Inquiry into the CFA’s former Fiskville Training College will resume public hearings on Monday 19 October. These hearings will continue through until December 2015.

CFA has, and will continue to, support the inquiry and provide any assistance as required.

The Environment, Natural Resources and Regional Development Parliamentary Committee is overseeing the inquiry, chaired by Bronwyn Halfpenny MP.

More than 400 submissions have already been received by the committee, including from CFA and author of the Independent Fiskville Investigation Professor Rob Joy.

Previous hearings were held from May – June earlier this year. Transcripts of each hearing can be viewed here.

The committee delivered its Interim Report on 24 June 2015, with a final report to be presented by 31 March 2016.
