PLANNED BURN – ADVICE

Incident Information:
CFA advises that a 1.1 km roadside planned burn is scheduled for Geelong Rd, Mt Helen from 1:00 pm Sunday 27 April, between Moss Ave and Union Jack Creek (Buninyong)
- This message applies to the localities of Mt Helen, Buninyong and Mt Clear
- Motorists should expect delays on Geelong Rd and avoid the area if possible
- The walking track along Geelong Rd south of Moss Ave will be CLOSED to the public while burn operations take place.
- Smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads.
What to do:
- If you are experiencing any symptoms that may be due to smoke exposure, the Department of Health advises people to seek medical advice or call Nurse on Call on 1300 606 024.
