This morning the Victorian Government released two reports which will be of interest to our people.
Of particular relevance and significance for CFA is a report into overall fuel management, and the way agencies work together with communities to determine and manage risk. This report was carried out on an independent basis by the Inspector General for Emergency Management (IGEM).
In coming weeks and months we will review the recommendations, and work closely with our agency, government and community partners to make sure our joint response is practical and effective. Without a doubt, improving the way we talk to and connect with communities at a grassroots level will be a focus.
