Safe Mistakes set to return

The ‘Safe Mistakes’ Home Fire Safety campaign will return in 2015 with the campaign to launch on Wednesday 20 May at Federation Square.

A new creative agency has been engaged in 2015 and CFA Residential Programs Coordinator Chris Barber said today “whilst it builds on the Safe Mistakes campaign from 2014, it also has a fresh perspective and some really fun new enhancements”.

The 2014 campaign reached an audience of some 3.2 million users through Facebook and 1.9 million users through Twitter with the Safe Mistakes video being watched by 155,000 users on YouTube making it one of our most successful online marketing campaigns ever. 

The’ Safe Mistakes’ home fire safety campaign aims to raise awareness of preventable house fires in Victoria by highlighting how simple mistakes cause house fires and encouraging people to make a safe mistake instead.
