Stratford Fire Brigade out in the community

Stratford Fire Brigade devoted time to present a fire safety session to the students of Cobains, Bundalaguah and Airly Primary Schools on Thursday 18 September.

Captain David Baxter, First Lieutenant Jason Scicluna and Firefighter Michael Hutchinson spoke to students about home fire safety and the importance of getting low and crawling in smoke.

The students had the opportunity to inspect the Stratford tanker, listen to the sirens and spray water from the hose. It was a fun-filled day where students were able to meet local firefighters and the brigade was able pass on important information to the students.
