These animations include Preparing your property for the fire season and Burning off.
Other animations follow key messaging from the Can I or Can’t I? guide such as BBQ and camp fires do’s and don’ts during the Fire Danger Period/Total Fire Ban Days.
Each year CFA works with the Department of Justice and Regulation (DJR) to help coordinate the annual summer campaign.
The campaign includes a range of materials that aim to increase awareness of bushfire and grassfires risks in Victorian communities.
This year promotion will once again focus on the reasons are black and white campaign.
New additions to existing materials will include a television commercial that addresses different scenarios relating to fire safety while travelling over summer.
Key components of the campaign will include traditional media advertising such as TV, radio and press, and also digital and social media advertising.
CFA’s social media will be a key promotional channel for promoting fire awareness messages. Members of the public are encouraged to follow channels to stay up to date with fire safety information and warnings.
Brigades and members are encouraged to share the new animations and other supporting materials with the community. Visit the template toolkit to view and download.
Further animations will be made available over the next few weeks.
