Construction works at the Victorian Emergency Management Training Centre – Sunraysia continued to progress in March.
A breathing apparatus maintenance building contract was recently allocated. Revised floor plans for the administration building have been sent to the quantity surveyor for costing.
In addition, a 2,000 litre self-bunded diesel tank has been installed and a roof canopy completed over pump and dosing plant equipment.
The containerised breathing apparatus training prop will soon be installed onsite.
Ongoing ancillary works, including fencing, road signage, driveway works, electrical works to pump compound also continue.
On the staffing side, the position of Pad Supervisor Sunraysia has been advertised with the intention to appoint a supervisor in April.
Training at the Sunraysia site is planned to commence by June 2015.
