On Thursday 16 June The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne hosted an event to thank the community and fundraising groups for their part in raising a record $22,328,154 for the 2022 Good Friday Appeal.

It was an opportunity for the Royal Children’s Hospital to publicly acknowledge CFA’s amazing contribution during the last 71 years.

Deputy Chief Officer Peter O’Keefe and Truganina frefighter Leigh Tomlinson were honoured to attend and represent all CFA members who give so much to the Appeal.

CFA was presented with a plaque commemorating our continued commitment and passion for the appeal over the last seven decades.

This year members were out in force collecting an incredible $1,440,225 towards the $22,328,154 record-breaking Good Friday Appeal tally.

A message from the Good Friday Appeal Team

We are full of gratitude for the support we receive from you and the many other individuals and organisations that continue to give their time and energy towards supporting The Royal Children's Hospital to provide world class care for sick kids. Thank you for your part in raising the record breaking amount of $22,328,154.

Please enjoy this video of our little ambassador Isla and our Community Report.  We'd love you to also share them with friends and colleagues.  These are both a great way to show others how the support of yourself and the Good Friday Appeal community of contributors impact the lives of many through the work of The Royal Children's Hospital.

Thank you again for your support, now and into the next year, as we continue to work towards a brighter future for many sick kids and their families.
