Victoria is providing emergency management support to Queensland, with 36 incident management and specialist personnel travelling north today to support our colleagues and the Queensland communities during the devastating fires.
The experienced personnel from a number of Victorian emergency response agencies will be deployed to Kendron, Boonah Airfield, Canungra, Rockhampton and Toowoomba.
The Victorian contingent includes:
- Five people from MFB
- Two people from VICSES
- Seven people from DELWP
- Seven people from Parks Victoria
- 15 people from CFA
