On Sunday 20 September, Vite Vite Fire Brigade celebrated the official handover of a 3.4D tanker.
Captain David Mercer advised that the new tanker has been a fantastic addition to the brigade’s fleet.
“It carries a lot more water, it holds five people in the cabin in air-conditioned comfort, and it allows us to fight fires without leaving the cabin.”
After the handover was completed, the brigade put on a lovely BBQ for all who attended. The day was a great success and all members of the brigade are very happy with their tanker.
