An outstanding group of individuals was recently recognised with CFA Life Membership at an awards function organised by the Wangaratta Group.

Wangaratta Group 2018 Life Membership recipitents with Deputy Chief Officer Garry Cook, District 23 Operations Manager Stewart Kreltszheim and Victoria Police Inspector Kerrie Hicks

All members recognised have been longstanding pillars of their local brigades and communities. Most have been long-serving officers in their home brigade, and many have also contributed as officers at group level. One has already been recognised with an AFSM for their contribution, and another has a CFA Outstanding Service Medal.

These 22 individuals have all been active CFA members and their legacy is evident in the culture and dedication of the members that have followed.
