Your chance to shape CFA review submission

CFA is holding two online sessions next week to seek feedback from members as it prepares its submission to the Victorian Government’s review into fire services.

The review is looking at resourcing, operations, management and culture.

The sessions will be held on Tuesday, August 18, at 3pm and 7.30pm.

Both sessions will be live streamed online at http://livestream.com/cfavic and you can send feedback or ask questions during the session by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or by SMS at 0457 999 333

Members can also attend the 3pm session in person at the CFA State Support Centre SCCR room (8 Lakeside Drive, Burwood East).

The sessions will give you an opportunity to provide feedback that will be used to shape CFA’s submission to the review.

A working party is currently drafting CFA’s submission, which is due at the end of August. The review is to be handed to the Emergency Services Minister by 30 September.

The sessions will be led by CFA’s CEO Michael Wootten. Other members of the executive team will also be on hand to answer any questions relevant to their area.

If you are unable to take part in the live sessions, you can still provide feedback to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. but you need to be quick as time is limited.
