The Allies of Inclusion Network will bring together CFA people who have a passion and willingness to promote and contribute to a positive, diverse and supportive culture.

An initiative of CFA’s Inclusion and Fairness team, the AIN will provide a place for innovation and collaboration between likeminded members with the aim of creating an inclusive organisation where members can bring their whole self to CFA.

All CFA members - staff and volunteer - can join the network and share their ideas, connect, learn and work together to support local and state initiatives.

You can attend one of two online workshops in December to learn more about the program, its goals and the benefits of being involved.

  • 7pm - 9.30pm, Tuesday 1 (register by 26 November)
  • 2pm - 4.30pm, Thursday 10 December (register by 3 December)

To register for one of the workshops, please email inclusionandfairness@cfa.vic.gov.au

Inclusion and Fairness Coordinator Terri Wright encouraged members who are supporters and advocates for diversity and inclusion to put their hand up to join the network.

“As members of CFA we hold an important role in the community to lead and challenge bias and discrimination,” Terri said.

“This cannot be achieved alone; a network of allies will be valuable in advancing inclusion and fairness for all members regardless of their background.

“Come as you are - you don’t have to be the expert as there are learning opportunities along the way.”
