When Ros suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this year, the crew from Melton CFA were first on-scene to deliver life-saving emergency medical care before paramedics arrived.

Thanks to the early intervention in the form of CPR provided by her husband Ian (supported by the triple zero call-takers), and the additional interventions by Melton firefighters and Ambulance Victoria paramedics, Ros was able to spend Christmas with her family.
