A single storey weatherboard house at Healesville has been completely destroyed by a fire that started after 10.30pm last night (Monday 22 September).
Crews from Healesville and Badgers Creek brigades responded to the fire, which started inside the vacant, derelict property, finally declaring it safe just before midnight. Firefighters from Bayswater brigade assisted with beathing apparatus.
The cause of the fire is still unknown and police are investigating for suspicious circumstances.
