The Challenge is on! "Two Services One Cause" Warragul Police & CFA 2 hour treadmill challenge.
This event sees CFA D9 staff and volunteers and Warragul Police join forces in raising funds for 2016 Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Good Friday Appeal.
The aim of this run is to raise awareness of the Good Friday Appeal to people in Warragul for a 2 hour period and to receive donations for this special cause.
We also seek assistance from those not interested in running but who can assist in fundraising ‘tin rattling’ in the vicinity of the runners.
The relay event for 2016 will commence at 11:30hrs Thursday 24th of March and conclude at 13:30hrs.
The team will have, at all times, 1 x CFA runner and 1 x Warragul Police runner on their treadmill and the kilometers will be collated to work out which team walked/ran/jogged the furthest.
The event will be held in front of the TELSTRA Store corner of Palmerston and Smith Street Warragul.
