The second community meeting for the Latrobe Valley open cut mine fires will be held tonight, Tuesday 18 February from 6.00pm at Kernot Hall, corner Princes Drive and Monash Way, Morwell.
The meeting will be a further opportunity for Morwell residents to hear from emergency services about the ongoing fire emergencies.
Representatives from Latrobe City, the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) and Department of Health will also be on hand to answer questions about smoke and health impacts.
A limited shuttle bus service will be operating for those without transport options. The service will run from 5.00pm with pick up points at Morwell Bowls Club, 52 Hazelwood Rd, Morwell and Latrobe City council chambers 141 Commercial Rd Morwell.
