Earlier this year I had the privilege of being part of a workshop dreamed up by the Manager of Volunteerism Kate Harrap to capture some of the many CFA stories we hear and talk about.
I didn’t have a clear idea of what story I would like to tell on video prior to attending the Australian Centre for the Moving Image digital storytelling workshop.

I sat down with the rest of the participants to discuss their ideas which led me to choose the story of my time as part of the Regional Control Team on Black Saturday at District 13 and a particular incident that had an impact on all present on the day, ‘My day of days’.
