On behalf of District 2, I would like to welcome ACO Gavin Thompson to North West Region.
Gavin comes to us with a wealth of experience from across various parts of CFA, initially as a volunteer in District 13 prior to joining the staff ranks working in both regional and metropolitan Victoria.
Gavin’s most recent posting was as the Operations Manager – Emergency Management in CFA HQ where he also served as a Deputy Chief Officer for extended periods.
Gavin has expressed interest in taking the opportunity to travel throughout the district to meet the members in order to identify ways in which he can better support the district to support our brigades. I encourage you to take the opportunity to introduce yourself and personally welcome Gavin to District 2.
