This was the ninth year that Skyhigh Restaurant has put on a lovely three-course dinner and drinks as a thank you to the three volunteer brigades of the Ridgetop (District 13).

The restaurant was full with CFA members from Kalorama-Mt Dandenong, Olinda and Sassafras-Ferny Creek brigades. It's a great opportunity for brigade members to get together and network in a fun and relaxed environment.
Skyhigh Restaurant owner John Connellan, welcomed the brigade members on behalf of himself and his wife Joan. The annual dinner was a thank you to the local CFA brigades from Skyhigh on behalf of the community.
Chief Officer Euan Ferguson thanked Skyhigh for its ongoing support of the three brigades. Euan also took the opportunity to thank the brigades for their work in protecting the communities in such a fire-prone area.
Euan also made a point of congratulating members on the work they do to spread important community safety information, particularly the successful Ridgetop Family Fun and Information Day.
The Family Day is being held this year on 23 November at Olinda Hall and surrounds.
