The CFA Digital Library is our central store for photos and videos showcasing all things CFA including our volunteers and activities related to brigade life.
There are thousands of images available including incident photos and CFA’s history all the way through to current times.
Content is freely available to the public, but non-CFA users need to register and create an account before images can be viewed and downloaded.
By accessing images from CFA’s Digital Library, users agree to and are bound by the following terms:
- Material is provided for use as a non-exclusive and royalty-free licence
- Material must not be used in advertising, sponsorship, or commercial brand campaigns; sold, sublicensed, or distributed as standalone material; or used for any other purpose than what was stated at time of request. Any use outside that stated in the original request requires prior written permission from CFA. Contact digital-media-team@cfa.vic.gov.au to find out more.
- Credit must be provided as follows:
- General credit: Footage / Photo[s] courtesy of Country Fire Authority (CFA)
- Photographer credit: Individual photographer names must be credited where provided and where relevant, in accordance with CFA credit information supplied with the Material.
- Child safety is important, and the user acknowledges that Materials may include children and young people and agrees that:
- The Material will be used in a manner that respects the dignity, safety, and welfare of all junior participants.
- The Material will not be used in any context that is exploitative, sensationalist, misleading, or likely to cause harm, distress, or embarrassment.
- The Material will not be used to imply behaviour, opinions, or circumstances that are untrue or inappropriate.
