Firefighters battled a blaze at a house in Horsham last night, 25 April, which destroyed about a quarter of the property.
CFA was called to the incident on Wawunna Road at 6.42pm and found parts of the single storey weatherboard home well alight.
The house was unoccupied at the time and firefighters successfully brought the fire under control in just under an hour.
The fire is believed to be suspicious and is being investigated today, 26 April, by CFA and Victoria Police.
Seven CFA units and around 20 firefighters from Horsham, Dimboola, Vectis and Dooen attended the scene.
